After the dust based, the Fraglider was interviewing the captain of the winning team ESWC 2008, Helder "coachi" Sancho. One player who has more prominent by their sincerity and strength of will to reach victory.
The main points that Fraglider was stressed in the interview, his opinion regarding the ESWC Portugal, the preparation of Gamegune, the plans scheduled for this summer and they expect the ESWC 2008 in San Jose.

In 2006 and 2007, Konami Portuguese Cup was dominated by our PES2008 players,  Modjo, with a double participation, J3SUS and zmann. In 2006, in Dublin, Ireland, J3SUS placed 5th/8th, and Modjo got an amazing last step in the podium, 3rd place. Last year, in Sevilha, Spain, Modjo and zmann were eliminated in group stage, but only getting there was a victory.
Now, in 2008, the Konami European Cup will be played in Rome, Italy, and our players will try to get the two golden tickets, in order to play with the best PES2008 players in Europe. But to get access to Italy, the players must play against best portuguese players at Konami Portuguese Cup Qualifiers, that will take place around the country.
Andrezinho will try his luck at C.C. Alfragide's Qualifier ,4th of August. Kunami and zemo will play at C.C. Colombo's Qualifier, 3rd of August. Finnally, J3SUS will play at Almada Forum's Qualifier, 2nd of August. You're welcome to show up and give them support, as you watch them playing.
Zmann and Modjo on their turn have guaranteed their presence in the national finals, because they were the nationals delegates last year.
Our international players,  Ulf and  dowe, will also try their luck, Ulf in Sweden and dowe in Spain.
Defining Stars is looking forward to see how their players will perform, we have some high goals that we want to achieve. The most important one is to get the two golden tickets for Italy, and other, not less important, is to get the hattrick with Modjo.

It is with mixed feelings that we see  Ollimatti ' delonge' Vehkalahti departure from our Counter-Strike:Source team. Its sad to lose such a high skilled player, but also a friendly figure within our community. Ollimatti will be joining Team Logitech.fi, one of the best teams in Europe at the moment, turning out to be an acknowledgement of his talent and dedication to the game. This said, our CS:Source team is now down to four players, and will be looking for delonge replacement in the coming weeks. Current lineup:  Janre 'wfl' Saat (Captain)

- Taavi 'psx' Liivat
- Lauri 'BAZIX' Üksti

This weekend our Warcraft III team played their final match in Warcraft Heroes League, the match would decide the winner from the competition, being our team the top contender. With match rules similar to NGL, our team knew that they needed to win important games versus some known faces from  Dharma Initiative, with players like  LucifroN or   TargA the match could go either way. In today's edition of A Bola that is considered one of the best sports newspapper in the world, and also in O Publico, one of the leading weekly newspapers in Portugal there is a complement called SEXTA where you can read an article about the ESWC Portuguese winners and also some words about the Defining Stars Counter-Strike team and his captain Helder 'coachi' Sancho.
 | "Se há uns anos dissessem a Hélder Sancho que a sua primeira ida aos Estados Unidos da América (EUA) seria para jogar Counter-Strike (CS), a coisa pareceria absurda. E agora, aos 20 anos, o capitão do clã Defining Stars prepara-se para, em Agosto, rumar à Califórnia a fim de disputar as finais do Campeonato do Mundo de Desportos Electrónicos.
Entre 25 e 27 de Agosto, San Jose, Califórnia, receberá 800 jogadores vindos de 50 países. São os melhores entre os melhores, apurados que vêm de várias qualificações entre mais de 100.000 players. As modalidades, ou os jogos se preferirmos, são cinco: Counter-Strike (com competição masculina e feminina), Warcraft 3, Trackmania, DotA e Quaque.
E será no Counter-Strike, com os Defining Stars, e no Trackmania, com Pedro «Moriah» Benjamim, que Portugal estará representado. As finais nacionais decorreram a 7 e 8 de Junho, em Paços de Ferreira.
Hélder Sancho, estudante de engenharia informática e capitão dos Defs, diz ao SEXTA que «o objectivo é fazer a melhor prestação portuguesa em campeonatos do género». O jogador de CS admite que «Portugal é dos países mais fracos», que ainda não pode comparar-se a gigantes como a Suécia, a Alemanha ou mesmo o Brasil, com grandes pontuações."

FGLeague Playoffs participation of our Couter-Strike:Source team comes to an end after a missing steam_id being reported by the opponent. It's a shame that this happened, as our team was on a winning streak but rules were made to be followed. Although we respect the rules its a bit of a shock that this situation occurs in this stage of the competition, even so we regret to inform that defs.css will no longer play in this season at FGLeague.
